The activity of olive oil press was launched at the end of 20s, by Ilídio Domingos Marques, when, in 1927, he was determined to implement one olive oil press facilities in a small village – Azinheira (Rio Maior – North-eastern of Ribatejo). The fruit of business of his father, he went and picked up the olives to/in the small olive groves that he had on his region. The production and processing it was handcrafted. From this small family activity, blossomed, years later, a finer and well-structured line of business, with the ability to start dealing with export, preserving his tradition and know-how of craft method.
